While larger companies have already implemented AI applications, SMEs still have to catch up when introducing AI systems in order to keep up. This requires advice, qualification and support. Without dealing with future technologies, the risk increases for companies that they will not be able to successfully implement necessary change processes and continue to keep up with international competition. AI not only holds economic potential for companies, it can also improve people's working conditions in the sense of human-centred AI, making them safer and more exciting.
The Regionale Zukunftszentrum Nord - funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union via the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) - supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their employees in shaping the digital transformation in a beneficial way for themselves and thus securing their future viability. Four federal states - Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein - as well as 13 consortium partners promote orientation and know-how on applications of artificial intelligence (AI) with the Regionale Zukunftszentrum Nord.
