  3. Digitalization consulting

Digitalization consulting Big data, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, cyber security - in hardly any other area is the technology map changing faster than in ICT. Staying up to date is difficult, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. We support you in identifying and harnessing the potential of digitization for your company.

Digitization influences all areas of a company. Machines are networked, IT systems are connected and processes are increasingly automated. However, digital solutions are becoming increasingly important and in some cases not only within the company, but along the entire supply chain. For this reason, a company's digitization strategy should always consider all processes and not only individual technologies or sub-areas. We support you, regardless of whether you are still at the beginning or have already implemented advanced digitization projects. As a research institute, we always provide advice independently of manufacturers and without economic constraints.

In order to make our offer as individual as possible and at the same time keep the effort and costs for you low, our digitization consulting is based on different stages. These build on each other and always focus on your current challenges and needs. It is up to you until which stage you need our support.

1. Digitization dialog

Do you have ideas for digitization projects, want to discuss the possible uses of new technologies, or just want to discuss the topic of digitization in general? As part of the digitization dialog, our experts advise you and discuss the challenges your company is facing. The goal is to develop approaches on how you can further develop your company and what potential lies in digitization.

2. Digitization workshop

Based on the digitization dialog, the identified approaches can be specified within a workshop. With the involvement of different departments, the company-specific challenges and needs are specified and target images for new business models, products or adapted processes are designed. The focus is always on your current organizational processes and IT architectures and how these can be further developed. A digitization roadmap is created, on the basis of which you can decide which digitization projects should be implemented, when and in what form.

At the same time, our experts impart research knowledge on the topics and thus update your employees.

3. Project planning

Before starting the implementation, it is necessary to plan the digitization project in detail. The feasibility and benefits of the planned project are examined in detail by means of various analyses. A detailed concept is created, which contains the technological and organizational implementation steps. If necessary, as an independent IT institute, we also advise on the selection of suitable project partners.

4. Project implementation

The final step is the successful implementation of the planned digitization project. As in any project, there are various challenges to be overcome. With our years of experience in numerous research projects, we support you in this process in order to develop your company digitally and prepare it for future market requirements.
