General information on applying

Are you studying at a university or university of applied sciences – ideally in computer science or business informatics – and would like to gain practical experience alongside your studies?

OFFIS offers you the opportunity to work closely with ongoing activities in all R&D divisions, as part of national and international research projects.

We offer you a position as a student research assistant

with flexible working hours (up to 19 hours per week),
in a friendly atmosphere and
with individual support.

We offer you an exciting and varied job. You will find a pleasant working environment in friendly teams with flat hierarchies. You should already have some experience in some of the following areas:

Object-oriented programming, e.g. Java, C# or C++
scripting languages, e.g. Python, SQL
Development tools, e.g. Eclipse, Visual Studio
Database modeling and database knowledge, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL
Server administration
Hardware-oriented programming, e.g. assembler or C
Web programming with HTML, CSS and Javascript
Statistical programming with R
