The EU funded IP-project HEARCOM, having 29 partners from 13 countries, has the objective to bring hearing impaired persons to optimal functional level in the information and communication society. Within the consortium OFFIS has the task to define, specify and implement a PDA-based hearing system, which can be used as a general platform for the implementation of algorithms for audio processing.
